The anime eye is a common feature in Japanese animation and comics. It’s characterized by large, round eyes with a large iris and minimal eyelashes. The effect is similar to that of the doll-like beauty of traditional Japanese dolls and anime characters alike.
The anime eye can be drawn as a series of simple shapes or as more intricate detail depending on your artistic skill level.
Step 1: Draw an oval shape for the basic shape of your character’s eye. Add a smaller circle inside the top half of this oval to represent the iris.
Step 2: Draw two lines coming down from each side of the iris to make it look like eyelashes. Add smaller ovals inside these lines for nostrils or other facial features that you want in your character’s face (for example, ears).
This is a quick tutorial on how to draw anime eyes.
Draw the outline of your eye with a pencil.
Then erase it and draw it again with ink or marker.
Draw two circles for the iris, one small and one big. The small circle is the pupil, while the bigger one is just an outline.
Make sure that they’re not too close together!
Now add some shading to make them pop out more!
Drawing Anime Eyes
Drawing anime eyes can be a little challenging, but by following these steps, you’ll be able to draw them in no time.
Step 1: Draw the outline of the eye. Start with a circle and then add two triangular shapes on either side. These are your guidelines for drawing the upper and lower eyelids. Make sure they’re fairly thick so you have enough room to add details later on.
Step 2: Draw in the iris and pupils. The iris is usually colored light blue or green and can have small specks of brown, red or black within it to give it more depth and realism. The pupil is usually black or dark brown, but can also be red if the character is angry or upset.
Step 3: Draw in the eyelashes on both sides of each eye using curved lines that start at the top corner of each lid and curve down towards the bottom corner of each lid. You can make these curved lines thick or thin depending on how long or short you want them to look; longer lashes will make your character look younger while shorter lashes will make them look older (or just plain ugly).
Step 4: Add any other details that you want such as eyelashes
How do you draw eyes?
There’s a lot of different ways to draw eyes, but I’m going to show you the method that I use.
First off, let’s start with the basic shapes.
I’m using a 2B pencil and I like it because it gives me nice dark lines and soft edges. The size of your head depends on how big you want your eyes to be and how small or large you want them to look on your character’s face. As you can see, here are two different sizes: one is very large and one is smaller than normal.
Next up is the iris and pupil. The iris is basically just an oval with two dots in it (the pupil). The shape of the iris depends on what kind of eye you’re drawing or what kind of expression you’re trying to make for your character. Here are some examples:
Now we move onto shading! This is where things get tricky…but don’t worry, it’ll be okay! Just follow along with these steps carefully and it should all work out fine!
The first thing we have to do is shade in all of the lines around the eye so that everything looks nice and smooth. This step is very important because if
Eyes are one of the most important features on the face. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to see anything!
So, let’s learn how to draw eyes.
First of all, let’s start with our basic shapes: a big circle for the eye and two smaller circles inside it for the iris and pupil.
Next, we need to make sure that our proportions are correct. The distance between each part of the eye is important because it gives us a better idea of how big or small they actually are in comparison with each other.
Once we’ve done that, it’s time to add some color! We don’t have any specific colors we need to use here – just pick whatever colors you think look good together!
Drawing a face is the easiest way to get started with drawing. You can use it as an exercise in itself, or as a warm up for your more complex drawings.
Drawing a face is also a great way to practice different techniques and skills, such as shading and line work.
Here are some handy tips for drawing faces:
Use basic shapes: Start by drawing an oval shape for the head, which you can then divide into different sections using lines and curves.
Draw circles for eyes and add smaller ovals or triangles inside them for pupils.
Add ears that stick out from the sides of your head shape, and draw a curved line down from each ear to the bottom edge of your head shape.
Draw hair growing from the top of your head shape, with two lines coming out at either side.
The eyes are the windows to the soul, so it’s important to make them look their best. Whether you are drawing an anime character or a cartoon, you need to know how to draw eyes correctly. This tutorial will show you how to draw anime eyes step by step.
Drawing Anime Eyes: Step 1
Draw two circles in the middle of the page. The center circle should be much larger than the other one, but both should be equally spaced apart from each other. Use a ruler if necessary to make sure they are even. The smaller circle should be about one third of the size of the larger circle, but it doesn’t have to be exact because we will adjust it later on in this tutorial.
Draw two lines coming down from each corner of each eye and then connect those lines with an arc that goes around each eye (you can see this in step 3). The ends of these arcs should meet at the bottom corner of each eye (which is also where we started drawing them from).
How do you color anime?
There are a lot of different ways to color anime, but the one that I like is using watercolors. It’s a very long process and can take several hours for a single frame, but it’s worth it for the final product.
Step 1: In this step, you’ll want to outline your character with a black marker and then color them in with pencils or markers. If you’re not sure how to do this, there are plenty of tutorials online that will show you how to draw anime characters.
Step 2: Use masking tape to create areas like the eyes or hair so they don’t get damaged during coloring.
Step 3: Fill in the outline with watercolor paints using either a brush or an old brush pen (the kind used for calligraphy). You will want to use as few colors as possible so that they blend well together and look natural. Also remember that some colors may be harder than others to achieve so try experimenting before committing yourself!
Step 4: Once you have finished coloring your drawing, seal it with an acrylic spray sealer so it doesn’t fade over time!
This is a tutorial on how to color anime. I’ll be showing you the steps I use to color my own art, which has been published in several anthologies, magazines and books around the world.
First off, let me say that there are lots of ways to color your art. This is just one way, but it’s the way that works best for me. It’s not necessarily what everyone else does or even what other artists do; it’s just what I do.
Second, this is an extremely lengthy tutorial, so please bear with me as we go through each step. The good news is that once you’ve mastered these techniques and understand how they work together, coloring becomes much easier and faster for you!
So let’s get started!
When I was a kid, I used to love watching anime.
I would watch shows like Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon, but the thing is, I didn’t really understand what was going on.
I mean, I knew that Goku was fighting some bad guys and that Sailor Moon was a superhero who fought monsters and evil people with magical powers.
But I didn’t really know how it was made or how it was colored in order for it to look so cool.
When you’re watching anime, you might notice that everything looks pretty dark compared to other cartoons you’re used to seeing on TV. That’s because there are certain rules when it comes to coloring an anime character or scene that make it look more realistic and believable than your average cartoon show (or live action movie).
The first thing you’ll notice about Anime coloring is that the colors are not bright at all! They’re actually very muted and almost dull looking. This makes them look more real than if they were just brightly colored objects floating around in space like most animation characters tend to do these days (there’s nothing wrong with bright colors – they can be fun too!).
Another thing you’ll notice is that there aren’t any solid outlines around each object like there
Anime is a style of art that originated in Japan. The word comes from the Japanese アニメ meaning “animation”.
Anime is used in two senses:
A general term for Japanese animation, often used by fans and professionals to distinguish it from anime produced in other countries.
A term for a specific style of animation created in Japan. This was popularized by the Sailor Moon anime series, which began airing on TV Tokyo in 1992.
How do you shade your hair pencil anime?
How to Shade Your Anime Hair
To get that anime look, there are 2 ways you can shade your hair:
Method 1. Shade the whole hair with a dark color, then shade in the highlights and shadows with a lighter color. This method is good for beginners as it’s easier to see where you’re putting down the darker color when working on a white background.
Method 2. Shade in the highlights and shadows first with a light color, then go back over them with a darker color. This method can be more time consuming but gives more control over where you place your highlights and shadows.
I usually shade my hair with a dark brown color pencil. Then I use a lighter brown and a lighter grey to add highlights. I also use white to highlight the tips of my hair or where I want my light to be coming from.
I always start with the darkest color first, then move on to the next one, and so on until I get the effect I want.
This method is probably the most common one.
The first thing you have to do is to create a base layer of color on your pencil drawing. You can use the same color of your brush or a different one, it’s up to you.
Once the base layer is done, you need to start shading. I recommend using darker colors for this part because they will cover better the white paper and make it easier to see what you are doing.
You can use any method to shade your drawing: crosshatching, hatching, scribbling…whatever works best for you!
Step 1: Prepare your canvas.
For this tutorial, I’m going to use a stock photo from Shutterstock. The model was wearing her hair in pigtails, so it was easy to isolate just her head and shoulders.
Step 2: Place your image as the top layer on your base color layer.
Create a new layer by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N or going to Layer > New > Layer (Shift + Ctrl + N on a Mac). Drag your image onto that layer and position it as desired. I made sure that her face was centered in my canvas and then positioned my reference photo accordingly. If you want to learn more about positioning reference images, check out our guide here: How to Use Reference Photos for Artistic Purposes
Step 3: Set your foreground color to white (make sure this is set up before continuing). Then brush over the areas where you want highlights or shadows with a soft-edged brush set to opacity 100%. This will give you an idea of where you’ll need to shade later on.
How do you shade anime hair in procreate?
How do you shade anime hair in procreate
Anime hair is a tricky beast. It’s not just about drawing straight lines and filling them in with color. You have to use shadows and highlights to give the illusion of depth. Here’s how to do it:
- Draw your basic line art, then go over it with a darker shade of gray. This will help create the illusion of dimension. If you’re drawing a character with more than one color in their hair, use different shades of gray for each color so that they don’t blend together too much.
- Use a smaller brush for your highlights and shadows, but don’t make them too small or else they won’t be visible! Make sure every strand of hair has some kind of highlight or shadow so that it looks like real hair rather than just colored lines on paper.
- You can also use colors other than gray if you want to add more detail or make things more interesting! Just make sure that if you’re going to use colors other than gray, they all look similar enough so that they don’t clash together when placed next to one another in your final piece (and remember: some colors look better as shadows while others look better as highlights).
How do you shade hair on paper?
Hair is an important part of human anatomy. It can give a lot of character to a person, so it is important to depict it correctly when drawing people. Hair can be difficult to shade on paper because there are so many different shades and highlights that need to be considered. The best way to shade hair on paper is by using a pencil and eraser or an electric eraser.
Step 1
Begin by drawing the outline of the person’s face with whatever type of pencil you choose, such as an HB or 4B. Make sure your lines are smooth and even so the shading will look nice when it is done.
Step 2
Next, draw a line under the chin of your subject’s face and connect it up with the bottom lip. Next, draw another line across their cheekbones and connect it at both ends with the line above their lips. This will create a V shape around their mouth that you can use as a guide for shading in their lips later on in this project.
Step 3
Now you will need to shade in the general shape of their hair, which should go from dark at the top down to lighter at the bottom, mimicking how real hair looks when light hits it from above or behind
