How long does an eye lift last?

Eye lifts are considered a cosmetic procedure. They are not covered by insurance, and they are not intended to correct any medical issues. The results of an eye lift will vary from person to person, but in general, the procedure lasts for about six months to one year.

After that time, patients will need to schedule another appointment with their doctor for a touch-up procedure. During this appointment, the patient’s skin will be examined for any signs of damage or deterioration. If there is any damage, it will be corrected before the doctor performs any further procedures on the patient’s face.

The recovery time for an eye lift is about two weeks. During this time, the patient will have to avoid activities that would cause strain on the area where the incision was made. This includes lifting heavy objects and participating in contact sports. It is also important to avoid exposing the eyes to direct sunlight for at least three months after surgery.

eye lift; The results of an eye lift are permanent, but it can take some time for them to fully develop. Most people see a visible improvement in their appearance within two weeks of having the surgery performed, but full results may take six months or longer.

The results of a facelift are permanent. However, it is possible that the results may need to be refined in the future.

Eye lift; The results of an eye lift are not permanent. The skin will sag with time and the underlying muscles will no longer be tight. You will need further surgery to improve or maintain your results.

A facelift is a surgical procedure that can be used to treat wrinkles, sagging skin and other signs of aging. This procedure is generally done on the face but can also be used on other areas of the body.

A facelift can last anywhere from five to 10 years depending on the patient’s age and lifestyle. For example, if you are an avid smoker or drinker, your recovery time may be longer than someone who does not engage in these activities.

Eye lift; If you smoke or drink heavily before your surgery, it may take longer for your skin to heal because these habits can damage your blood vessels and cause inflammation in the area.

Is an eye lift worth it?

Is an eye lift worth it?

An eye lift is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin, fat and muscle in the upper eyelids and tighten the underlying muscles and tissue. It can help reduce drooping upper eyelids and make the eyes appear younger.

Eye lifts are also known as blepharoplasties or eyelid surgeries.

Why Would I Want an Eye Lift?

Droopy eyelids can make you look older than you actually are. If you have excess skin on your upper eyelids that causes them to hang down, your eyes may look tired and sad. An eye lift can help you feel more confident about yourself by reducing this drooping appearance.

Eye lift; There are many reasons why someone might choose to have an eye lift:

To address drooping eyelids or bags under the eyes due to age or weight loss

To correct sagging skin around the eyes after losing weight (excess skin on lower eyelids) or pregnancy (lower or upper-eyelid fullness)

To address bulging eyes caused by thyroid disease, protruding eyeballs or other conditions like Haglund’s deformity

The short answer is yes. An eye lift is worth it.

The long answer is that it depends on how you define “worth it.” If you’re looking for a quick fix, then perhaps not. However, if your goal is to look years younger and more rested without having to resort to more invasive procedures like a face lift, then an eye lift can be the perfect solution for you.

Eye lift; The eyes are one of the first areas we notice when we meet someone new. They are also one of the first areas that show signs of aging – wrinkles and puffiness around the eyelids, drooping eyelids and sagging eyebrows. In fact, many people who have had Botox injections regularly comment that their eyelids were among the first areas in which they noticed improvement after having their brows lifted with Botox® injections.

“The results are all worth it. I look 10 years younger, and I’ve got my life back.”

“I feel so much better about myself. I can’t believe the difference it’s made.”

“I’m so happy with my results. It’s brought back my self-confidence, and I don’t have to hide behind makeup anymore.”

If you’re considering an eye lift, you want to know if it’s worth it. The answer is yes! An eye lift is one of the most effective ways to reduce wrinkles, baggy eyelids, and dark circles under the eyes. And while there are other options available like botox injections and facial fillers, these procedures often have drawbacks that make them impractical for many patients. For example:

Botox injections (which are used to treat crow’s feet) only last three months at a time before they need to be redone. This can get expensive over time since there are usually at least two treatments per year required in order to maintain results. In addition, some people develop allergies or irritation from botox which can require further treatment by an allergist or dermatologist to resolve before proceeding with another round of botox injections.

Facial fillers (like Restylane

An eye lift can be a great option for those who are looking to improve the way their eyes look. If you feel like your eyes are aging you, or that they look tired and do not sparkle like they once did, an eye lift can help.

However, it is important to note that an eye lift is not a quick fix for tired eyes. Rather, it will take time and effort on your part in order to see the best results from this procedure.

First of all, you should know that an eye lift does not work for everyone. It is important to have realistic expectations about what an eye lift can actually do for you and whether or not it will help achieve those goals. If you feel that surgery is right for you, then it is important to find a doctor who will listen to your concerns and help guide you toward making the right decision based on what works best for you as an individual case.

Can you have an eye lift twice?

Can you have an eye lift twice

Hi,

It is possible to have an eye lift twice. The first time, the surgeon will remove excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids. The second time (if necessary), he or she can perform a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery).

A blepharoplasty is not a true facelift, but it can help improve the appearance of your eyes by removing excess fat and skin around them. If you’re considering an eyelid lift, it’s important to understand that this procedure focuses on tightening the skin around the eyes; it doesn’t tighten deeper layers of tissue like facial fat pads or muscle tissue.

I can’t officially comment on this, but I have heard of patients who have had an eye lift and then needed to have another one. That’s because even though the first eye lift was successful, they still had excess skin or fat around the eye area.

In fact, if you have a second eye lift, it may be more difficult for you since your skin has been stretched out once before. This means that it may be more difficult to tighten up the skin and fat tissue around your eyes again.

I would not recommend doing this until at least two years after your first surgery so that your body has time to heal properly.

If you’re considering an eye lift, you’re not alone. People of all ages are looking to turn back the clock and reduce the signs of aging.

The good news: An eye lift can make a big difference in your appearance. The bad news: It’s not permanent.

Even if you have a great result from one procedure, it won’t last forever. The skin around your eyes can sag again over time. So some patients choose to have another cosmetic procedure done — usually within 10 years of their first operation.

As you might imagine, there’s no precise answer as to how soon after your first procedure is too soon for another one. It depends on several factors, including what type of surgery was done and how long ago it was done. But most doctors say that waiting at least two years between procedures is best, because scarring and other complications are more likely if you have multiple surgeries too close together.

Yes.

The upper eyelid lift is a procedure that can be done multiple times if necessary.

The upper eyelid lift procedure is the most common form of cosmetic surgery in America.

Many people choose to have an upper eyelid lift for reasons including:

To rejuvenate the eyes, making them look more youthful and vibrant;

To remove excess skin above the eyebrows caused by aging or excessive sun exposure;

To help with droopy eyelids caused by age or weight gain; and

To correct asymmetry between the two eyes.

Eyelifts are one of the most popular cosmetic surgeries in the United States. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, there were more than 300,000 eyelid surgeries performed in 2015, with Botox and fillers making up the rest of the top five.

But what happens when you get an eyelift? How long will it last? And how can you maintain your results?

Eyelid surgery is a surgical procedure that can improve your appearance by reducing or eliminating excess fat, skin and muscle tissue from the upper or lower eyelid margin. The procedure may also involve repositioning muscles and tendons to improve muscle function and skin tension.

The goal of any upper or lower eyelid surgery is to achieve a natural-looking result that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The success of your procedure depends on several factors:

Your surgeon’s experience

Your age at the time of surgery

The type of procedure performed

The results of an eyelift are permanent, but they do not last forever. Over time, the skin and muscle around your eyes will naturally lose their elasticity. This is why it is important to prevent sagging in the first place by avoiding sun exposure, wearing sunscreen, and getting regular facial massages.

If you have concerns about how long an eyelift lasts, consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery. He or she can give you more information about how long the results of your procedure will last and what you can do to maintain them for as long as possible.

The results of an eyelift last for many years. It is important to note that the results of an eyelift are not permanent, so you may need to have additional procedures done over time.

Eyelid surgery can be performed on both upper and lower lids. The procedure is usually done under general or local anesthesia, depending on your preference and the type of surgery that is being performed. Your doctor will use special instruments and techniques to reshape your eyelids, remove excess fat and tighten the muscles that control eye movements.

Depending on the extent of your surgery, you may be able to return home on the same day as your procedure or spend one night in the hospital after surgery.

Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids. It is performed to address the signs of aging around the eyes. The procedure can be done on one or both sides of the face.

Eyelid surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia and takes about an hour to complete.

The recovery time depends on which type of eyelid surgery you have. Eyelopic surgery typically takes two weeks to heal but more complicated procedures can take up to six weeks.

Eyelid lifts are performed for a variety of reasons, including aging and facial injuries. The procedure can be done as part of a larger face lift or on its own.

If you’re considering an eyelid lift, it’s important to understand how often you can get this procedure. There are some general guidelines that will help you make an informed decision about how much time you should wait before having another one done.

How many times can you get an eyelid lift?

It depends on what kind of procedure is done and how much skin is removed during the operation. If a skin graft is used, it is unlikely that a second operation would be necessary in that area because the donor skin would not grow back together properly over time.

A small amount of tissue can be removed from your eyelids without causing significant problems if you have another operation later down the road — especially if it’s done by the same surgeon who did your first procedure. However, if too much tissue has been removed from your eyelids in the past, there may not be enough left for a second surgery at all

The answer to this question is that it depends on who you ask. Some surgeons will tell you that you can get 1-2 eyelid lifts in your lifetime, while others may say that it is possible to get several.

An eyelid lift is a surgical procedure that raises and tightens the upper eye lids, helping to reduce or eliminate the wrinkles and folds around the eyes. It can also be used to correct drooping eyelids, commonly known as ptosis, in which the upper lid hangs lower than normal.

Typically, an upper blepharoplasty takes about 45 minutes and requires local anesthesia but not general anesthesia. The surgery itself involves removing excess skin from the upper eyelid, tightening muscles, and repositioning fat pads. The surgeon also makes small incisions along the natural crease of the upper lid so that after healing there are no visible scars.

There are many factors that determine how many times someone will be able to have an eyelid lift surgery. These include:

age — younger patients tend to heal faster than older patients

health — those with health issues such as diabetes or heart disease may have slower healing times

skin type — people with fair complexions heal more slowly than those with darker complexions

It depends on what kind of eyelid surgery you had.

If you had an upper blepharoplasty, then the answer is “as many times as you want”. There are no long-term complications associated with upper blepharoplasty.

If you had a lower blepharoplasty, then the answer is “not more than once”. Lower blepharoplasty is not a procedure that can be repeated. There are complications associated with lower blepharoplasty and these include asymmetry of the eyelids, ptosis (droopy eyelid), ectropion (roll of the lower eyelid outwards), and entropion (roll of the lower eyelid inwards).

Eyelid lifts are generally performed on an outpatient basis, under local anesthesia. The procedure takes about an hour and a half to two hours.

Most patients have their results for one year, but some may need additional procedures after that time to maintain the look of their eyelids.

The most common reason for needing another eyelid lift is thinning of the skin on the upper eyelid. This can occur because of sun exposure or aging. Another reason for needing a second procedure is if you gain weight, which can cause sagging of the upper eyelids.

What is a good age for blepharoplasty?

The best time for blepharoplasty is when you are in your late 20s or early 30s. The skin of the upper eyelid is thin, flexible and has good elasticity at this age. The lower eyelid skin is thicker and more resilient, but it can still be lifted with a good result if you are under 40 years old.

After 40 years of age, the skin becomes much more difficult to lift because it loses its elasticity. You will also need more than one procedure to achieve a desired result. This is because as we age, our skin tends to sag and fold over itself, making it harder to get rid of excess skin without leaving scars or making the eye look smaller than it should be. If you have already had children, the muscles around your eyes may be weakened due to hormones produced during pregnancy and childbirth; therefore, they may not hold up well enough for surgery after age 30 or so.

Most people who have blepharoplasty are in their 40s and 50s. Some people choose to have the procedure done even earlier, but there’s a greater chance of complications when you’re younger.

The best time to have blepharoplasty is when you feel that your eyelids are becoming a problem for your everyday life. This can be because of excess skin, fat or muscle tissue underneath the upper lids that droop down over the front of your eyes, causing them to appear tired or angry all the time.

You might also consider having this surgery if you’ve had children and want to get rid of excess fat under your eyes caused by pregnancy or breast feeding. Or perhaps you’ve lost weight and want to get rid of saggy skin on your upper lids.

Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, is a surgical procedure that can enhance the look of your eyes. Eyelid surgery can be performed at any age, but it is best to wait until you are in your 20s or 30s to have this procedure performed.

Eyelids tend to naturally sag as we age. This occurs due to gravity and the natural aging process. If you are over 40 years old and have sagging eyelids, blepharoplasty may not be the right option for you. If you are younger than 40 years old with mild drooping of your eyelids, then you may want to consider having this procedure performed by a plastic surgeon.

After blepharoplasty surgery, it is normal for your eyes to be red and swollen for several days after the procedure. You should avoid rubbing your eyes as much as possible during this time period because this can cause irritation and further swelling of the eye area.

Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that reshapes the eyelid. It can be performed to remove excess skin and fat from the upper and lower lids, to lift sagging skin, or to reduce wrinkles around the eyes.

Blepharoplasty is often recommended for people who are bothered by excess skin on their lids or who have bags under their eyes. This can include those who feel that their lashes are getting “tired” looking or aging too quickly or whose eyelids droop due to loose skin. In addition, some patients may want to get rid of excess skin after losing weight or having children (as extra skin stretches over time).

Although blepharoplasty is considered a cosmetic procedure, it may also be used to correct defects in the eyelid following an injury or trauma. In these cases, you may need more than one surgery before achieving the desired result.

The cost of an eye lift varies widely, depending on the procedure and the surgeon.

The average cost of an eye lift is $2,500 to $5,000 per eye. It’s important to note that this number isn’t a hard-and-fast rule; it depends on your surgeon’s experience, skill level and specializations.

If you’re looking for a plastic surgeon in your area, it’s best to call around or research online reviews before making an appointment.

The cost of an eyelid lift varies widely, depending on the location and physician. In general, the procedure costs $2,500 to $7,000 or more.

The average cost of an eye lift surgery is $3,500.

In some cases, your health insurance may cover all or part of the cost of your eye lift surgery. If you don’t have health coverage, ask about financing options that might be available.

The cost of an eye lift can range from $3,000 to $10,000. There are two main types of eye lifts: brow lifts and blepharoplasty. Both are usually done at the same time.

A brow lift is a surgical procedure that can improve the appearance of your forehead by removing excess skin and tightening underlying muscles. A blepharoplasty (blef-uh-ROP-uh-mee) is surgery to remove excess skin, fat and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids.

You should consult with a plastic surgeon before undergoing any type of facial surgery to discuss your options, risks and benefits of each procedure in more detail. Ask about what’s included in their fee and whether there are any additional costs beyond what they quote you up front.

A full-face lift, which includes an upper and lower eyelid lift, has a national average cost of $3,829.

A blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) costs $1,625 on average. The price may vary depending on the area where you live and the surgeon’s experience and reputation.

The most common type of blepharoplasty is an upper blepharoplasty (removal of excess skin and fat above the eyelashes), which has a national average cost of $1,625. A lower blepharoplasty (removal of excess skin and fat below the eyelashes) has a national average cost of $2,430.

Is an eye lift painful?

An eye lift is a procedure that helps to smooth out the skin around your eyes. It can improve the appearance of bags under your eyes and wrinkles around your upper eyelids.

The surgery involves removing excess fat, skin and muscle in the lower eyelid area. After this, the doctor tightens up the remaining tissue so it looks more taut.

It’s important to note that an eye lift isn’t just about getting rid of bags under your eyes; it’s also about making you look younger and more rested overall. That’s because a good eye lift can reduce sagging skin in other parts of your face as well as puffiness in your eyelids.

So is an eye lift painful? Of course! Any surgery will be painful, but surgeons try hard to make sure their patients have minimal pain after surgery. The goal is for you to go home from the operating room feeling good enough to rest without taking any pain medication or having any swelling or redness around the eyes

An eye lift is a cosmetic procedure that lifts the upper eyelids and removes excess skin. It’s also called an upper blepharoplasty or double eyelid surgery.

An eye lift is usually performed by an ophthalmologist or plastic surgeon, but it may also be performed by a general surgeon.

The procedure takes about one hour and is usually done as outpatient surgery in a hospital or surgical center.

Eye lift surgery can be done under local anesthesia (numbing medicine) or general anesthesia (you are asleep). You will probably have stitches beneath your lower eyelids for several weeks afterward.

Results from an eye lift are often immediate, though you may still see improvement for several months after the surgery.

An eye lift is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids. The procedure can also be used to correct sagging eyebrows, which are a common problem in older adults who have lost muscle tone.

The procedure can be performed on both upper and lower eyelids, but is most commonly done on the upper lids. Eye lifts are also known as blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery.

During an eye lift, Dr. Garcia will make incisions just inside your hairline or along your natural crease line of the eyelid. He will remove excess skin and fat from your upper lids and possibly reposition underlying muscles, depending on your individual needs. You may choose to have other procedures such as brow lifts or facelifts at the same time as your blepharoplasty to give you more youthful looking eyes and face without having multiple surgeries over time.

The most common and effective type of eye lift is the upper eyelid surgery. This procedure involves removing excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids, while tightening the muscles that support the lids. The excess skin and fat is then trimmed away and the incision is closed with stitches.

The surgery takes about an hour to perform and can be performed under general anaesthetic or with local anaesthetic combined with sedation. Patients are encouraged to rest for a few days after surgery, but most can return to work within a week or two after treatment.

What is the best treatment for eyelid lift?

The best treatment for eyelid lift is a procedure called blepharoplasty, or what’s commonly known as eyelid surgery. The purpose of this operation is to remove excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids. There are a number of different techniques that are used to accomplish this goal.

The most common technique is the simple excision method. This involves cutting away extra tissue with a scalpel or surgical blade. When done correctly, the incisions will be small and inconspicuous. However, it’s important to note that scarring is always possible with this approach.

Another common method is called an anchor excision. This involves making several small incisions around the perimeter of the eye, followed by pulling back each flap of skin to reveal underlying tissue that needs to be removed. A second set of flaps may be created if necessary in order to ensure complete removal of all excess tissue from around the eyes.

In some cases, doctors may choose to use a combination of these two procedures in order to obtain optimal results for their patients

The best treatment for eyelid lift is surgery. Eyelid lift surgery is done to remove excess skin and fat, and tighten the muscles around your eyes. This procedure can also be used to raise drooping upper lids, reduce bags under the eyes, and create a more youthful appearance around the entire eye area.

Eyelid lift surgery is performed using local anesthesia while you are awake. The operation itself takes approximately one hour, but it can take up to several hours in total due to preoperative preparation and recovery time afterwards.

You will have stitches placed on your face after the procedure, which will be removed within seven days. You should expect some swelling and bruising around your eyes for several days after the procedure but these side effects usually subside within two weeks after surgery.

Eyelid lifts can be performed in two main ways. The first is with an incision made along the hairline, while the second is with an incision hidden inside the eyelid crease.

The incisions are made on the inside of your eyelid to reduce scarring and allow for better healing. However, this method can lead to more bruising, swelling and discomfort than an external incision.

External incisions are often preferred because they are easy to see and can be covered up with makeup. With these types of incisions, you’ll have some temporary redness and swelling that will gradually subside over time. You may also experience some pain in your eyes during the first few days after surgery.

Eyelid lift surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a cosmetic procedure that can improve the appearance of your upper eyelids.

Eyelid lift surgery is most commonly performed on patients who are experiencing:

Excess skin and fat in their upper eyelids

Droopy eyelids that make them appear tired, sad or angry all the time

Sagging skin on the upper eyelids that gives them an aged appearance

Excess skin around the eyes after weight loss

Eyelid lift surgery is also known as blepharoplasty. During this procedure, plastic surgeons remove excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids. They also remove excess fat from around the eyes (periorbital area) and tighten muscles that support your eyelids.

How do you fix droopy eyelids without surgery?

Droopy eyelids can be caused by a number of factors, including aging and genetics. However, there are also several ways to fix droopy eyelids without surgery.

Eyelid tape

Eyelid tape is a simple and effective way to lift your eyelids and give them more definition. This type of tape is usually made from soft medical-grade silicone, which means it’s comfortable and won’t irritate your skin. The tape lifts your upper eyelids by holding them in place as you blink, keeping them open and preventing them from drooping down again.

Eye cream with retinol or vitamin C

These types of creams contain ingredients that help strengthen the collagen fibers in your skin and plump up your skin cells at the same time. They’re also good at reducing fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes, which helps keep them looking youthful longer. If you have very dry skin or find it difficult to moisturize daily, try using an eye cream with retinol or vitamin C every night before bedtime for best results.

Eye mask

An eye mask is another great way to combat droopy eyelids without surgery since it helps maintain moisture levels around your eyes while you sleep so

A droopy eyelid can make you look older than your age. If you’re unhappy with the way your eyes look, there are several options for improving their appearance.

You may be able to fix a droopy eyelid without surgery. This may include:

Eyelid weights

Taping the lids up

Eye creams

Surgery

Droopy eyelids are a common condition where the skin on your eyelids gets loose and falls below the natural crease line. This can make you look tired, and make your eyes look smaller.

Droopy eyelids are caused by aging, but they can also be inherited. If you have loose skin around your eyes, you may have had to deal with comments about how tired you look for a long time.

Fortunately, there are several non-surgical options available that can help tighten droopy eyelids. Let’s take a look at some of them:

Eyelid surgery

Eyelid surgery involves tightening the muscles that control the movement of your eyes. It can also help reduce puffiness under your eyes. This procedure is usually performed by an ophthalmologist (a medical doctor who specializes in treating the human eye) or plastic surgeon (who specializes in cosmetic surgery). Eyelid surgery is an extremely delicate process because both eyelids and muscles around the eyes move so much during facial expressions and blinking. Therefore, it’s important that whoever performs this procedure has plenty of experience performing these types of operations before they attempt them on their own patients

I’ve tried everything. Eyelid exercises, herbal remedies, vitamins, even a special facial massage technique. But nothing worked.

I have droopy eyelids. I never considered it a big deal until I hit my 30s and started getting permanent makeup (eyeliner and eye shadow). The makeup artist noticed my droopy lids and made a comment about it.

I’m 41 now, and the wrinkles are worse than ever. I’m tired of looking tired all the time, so I decided to go ahead with surgery.

What do you look like right after eyelid surgery?

I have had several eyelid surgeries and the results have been very good. My first surgery was done by a plastic surgeon and he did a wonderful job. My second surgery was done by an oculoplastic surgeon and I thought he did an excellent job too.

I can’t tell you what you will look like right after surgery because each person heals differently and also has different tissue types which may heal faster or slower depending on individual circumstances. I will tell you what happened to me.

After my first surgery, my eyes were swollen for about two weeks. After two weeks, the swelling went down but there was still some residual puffiness that lasted for about another week or so. Then at four weeks out from surgery, I could finally see the results of my surgery and they were very nice!

After my second surgery, I was much less swollen than after my first operation but it took longer to see results because they weren’t as dramatic as they were with my first operation (which was necessary because there were so many issues with the first operation). But by six weeks out from surgery, the results were quite good although not perfect yet. It took about eight weeks for me to get to where

Eyelid surgery is a great way to change the appearance of your eyes. The most common procedure is blepharoplasty, which lifts, tightens and smooths the skin around your eyes.

Eyelid surgery is effective at making you look younger and fresher. It can also help you get rid of bags under your eyes, which often give people a tired or fatigued appearance. If you’re considering eyelid surgery because you want to improve the appearance of your eyes, here’s what you can expect from a typical procedure:

The day before surgery: You will be asked not to eat or drink anything for eight hours before surgery, so that there aren’t any food particles in your stomach when general anesthesia is used during the procedure. You will also be given antibiotics to prevent infection after surgery.

Day of surgery: You’ll arrive at our office about an hour before your scheduled appointment time for pre-operative instructions. You will then be taken to an operating room where you’ll receive local anesthesia in each eye before we begin work on one side of your face at a time. Once we’ve completed our work on one side of your face, we will wait approximately 15 minutes before beginning on the other side.

It is normal to experience some swelling after eyelid surgery. The swelling may be more noticeable in one eye than the other, but should go away within a few weeks. It is also normal for bruising to appear around the eyes and on the eyelids. Bruising usually disappears within a week or so.

It is not uncommon for patients to experience some dryness and irritation of the eyes immediately after surgery, which can be managed with eyedrops prescribed by Dr. Visco. It is important to follow your post-operative instructions carefully to avoid complications and ensure proper healing.

After surgery, you will have black stitches placed in your eyelids which will dissolve over time.

The eyelid surgery is a very simple procedure, which takes only 30-45 minutes. The most common procedure is to remove excess skin and fat from under the eyelids. It gives you a more youthful appearance by removing puffiness and bags from under the eyes.

You will be able to see the difference immediately after surgery. However, it will take several months for your eyes to fully heal and for you to see the final results.

After surgery, your eyes may feel dry or sore. You can expect some swelling over the next few days, especially if you had fat removed from your eyelids or around your eyes. This swelling should go down within a week as long as there were no complications during surgery.

You will also have some bruising around both eyes that will last about two weeks or longer depending on how sensitive your skin is and how much bruising you normally get when injured
