Ashley Pierce

Ashley Pierce (she/her) oversees the Pozen Center’s operations and budgets, plans and implements initiatives, coordinates communications, and works with the directors to plan and implement events.

She has held a variety of roles across campus, including at the Office of Career Advancement, the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Office of Civic Engagement, University Human Resources, and Booth.

She graduated from Northwestern University in 2019 with a degree in Social Policy. During her time at Northwestern, Ashley worked as a research assistant in the Institute for Policy Research, which sparked her interest in public policy and social justice issues. In her free time, Ashley likes to watch reality TV, eat at new restaurants, and spend time outside with friends.

Ashley also serves as the Assistant Director of Academic Affairs in the Office of the Provost at the University of Chicago. Ashley holds a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy with a concentration in Economic Policy Analysis.

Ashley previously worked at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as a Senior Program Manager for Executive Education. She has extensive experience in event planning, marketing, and project management. Ashley holds a BA from DePaul University and an MSc from Goldsmiths College at the University of London.

Before joining the Pozen Center in 2017, Ashley worked in the Department of Political Science as an undergraduate career advisor and program coordinator. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in political science in 2011.

Ashley joined the Pozen Center in June of 2016. Before coming to UChicago, she was the program associate for the Urban Education Institute at UChicago. She received a BA from Northwestern University in Social Policy, with a minor in Gender & Sexuality Studies.

She has a BA in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MA in social sciences from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining the Pozen Center, Ashley worked as a program coordinator for the Program on International Politics, Economics, and Security (PIPES), the UChicago Center in Delhi, and the Office of Global Engagement.
