Burgundy Nails

Burgundy Nails

Burgundy nails are always a classic, but they are especially perfect for the upcoming fall season. Not only do they look great on every skin tone, but they can be worn with almost anything.

Whether you’re wearing jeans and a white tee or your favorite LBD, these nails will go with everything in your closet!

So if you’re looking for some fall nail inspiration, check out our favorite burgundy nail designs below: (via @thedailysophia)

I’ve been asked several times what the name of the burgundy nail polish I use is. Some people have even been willing to pay me to paint their nails this color. I’m flattered that people like it that much, but I can’t accept money for painting someone’s nails. This burgundy polish is my favorite nail color and I’m excited to share it with you!

This is the first time I have ever tried to do a nail tutorial. My nails are not the longest but I hope you enjoy.

Step 1: Paint all nails with two coats of navy polish and let dry.

Step 2: Using a detailer brush, paint 2-3 lines on each nail using the burgundy polish.

Step 3: Add some gold leaf flakes to your ring finger by painting one coat of clear polish onto your ring finger, then adding the gold leaf flakes to the wet nail polish. You can also use gold glitter for this step as well.

Step 4: Add a top coat if desired and you’re done!

Burgundy Nails Almond

Burgundy Nails Almond is one of the most trendy nail colors for fall time. This nail polish is part of the fall collection from OPI and it’s called La Collection de France. With this color you can achieve a gorgeous look in minutes! It’s very easy to apply and it looks great on all skin tones.

It lasts long, up to 7 days without chipping! Also, it dries very quickly so you don’t have to wait for hours before applying another layer of polish or topcoat.

If you want to wear this nail polish during winter season too then try adding some shimmery glitter on top of your nails after applying two coats of burgundy nails almond. You can also add silver dots around each nail with a toothpick dipped into white paint (or use liquid latex if you don’t want any mess).

This is one of the most popular nail shapes. The oval shape flatters most nail beds and the rounded tip is less prone to breakage than a square or pointy nail shape.

To achieve an almond shaped nail start by filing the top of your nails into a smooth curve, then file the sides straight to create a long oval shape. This nail shape looks great on shorter nails but still works well on longer nails when you want to add length without looking too dramatic.

Burgundy nails are a very popular choice among women. They have a rich, sophisticated look to them and they are flattering on many different skin tones. Burgundy nails are perfect for the fall and winter months, but they can also be worn in the spring and summer as well.

Burgundy nails look great when paired with a dress or skirt and blouse. They are also a good choice for formal occasions like weddings, proms, and black tie events.

Burgundy nails come in many different shades and finishes. You can choose from matte or glossy finish, shimmery or glittery finish, or even metallic finish. The possibilities are endless!

Here at KISS USA, we have a wide variety of burgundy nail polishes that will be perfect for any occasion. Our polish is free from harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene or camphor so you can feel confident about what you’re putting on your body!

To create this look: Apply two coats of KISS GEL POLISH in Black Cherry (DC01). Then apply one coat of KISS GEL POLISH in Flirt (DC02) to the center portion of each nail using our PRO ACCENT

If you’re looking for a burgundy nail polish that’s not too dark, but not quite a wine color, then this one is perfect. It’s a gorgeous shade of purpley red with subtle shimmer. It comes out more shimmery in the bottle than on the nail. The brush is wide and flat and makes application easy. The formula is smooth and consistent. I experienced no issues with streaks or bubbles. Dry time was fast.

It’s definitely not a dupe for Essie’s “Wine Not” but it is similar.

If you like dark colors and shimmer, then you’ll love this one!

Step 1

Use a moisturizer on the hands and nails to soften the skin. This removes any dryness that may interfere with the application of nail polish. If you have cuticles, push them back with a cuticle stick.

Step 2

Paint your nails with a base coat. The coating acts as a primer to prevent polish from staining your nails. Apply two coats of color polish, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next one. The polish you choose should complement your skin tone and style. For example, darker colors like burgundy are ideal for fall and winter whereas lighter colors like pink are best for spring and summer.

Step 3

Let the color dry completely, then apply one or two coats of clear topcoat to give your nails a high-gloss finish, which protects your nails from chipping and scratching. Finally, apply a hand cream to moisturize the hands and give them a soft texture.

“Deep burgundy nails are a classic red nail that never goes out of style,” says Jin Soon Choi, founder of JINsoon Nail Lacquer. “This is a sophisticated and elegant color that looks good on everyone, no matter your skin tone.”

If you want to add some flair to the look, try accenting one of your nails with a gold chevron design.

To get the look:

With a detail brush, paint on a triangle shape with JINsoon Audacity ($18) starting from the cuticle and ending at the tip of your nail. Add three diagonal stripes next to it with JINsoon Audacity as well.

Finish off with one coat of JINsoon Top Gloss ($20).

A collection of my favorite deep burgundy nails!

While I was in the process of creating my DIY wedding invitations, I realized that my nails were so long and the tips were so damaged I had to cut them.

I decided to go with a deep burgundy color to match my dress since it is an accent color. I started with a Sally Hansen base coat (not pictured) and then painted my nails using 2 coats of this China Glaze shade:

I usually paint 2 coats of a base and then 2 coats of whatever color I want but then, I was worried that this wouldn’t be a deep enough burgundy so I added another coat of the same color and finished off with a top coat, also by Sally Hansen.

This style is perfect for when you want to add a little more drama to your nails. The deep burgundy colour makes it look even more elegant and the golden glitters add a touch of glamour.

The shimmering gold nail polish goes perfectly with the dark burgundy colour and helps to make the overall design look even more interesting.

This design is great for adding some drama to your nails. It looks elegant and sophisticated without being too over-the-top or bright and will suit any occasion.

  1. Apply base coat.
  2. Apply two coats of burgundy polish to all nails, letting each application dry completely in between (roughly 30 seconds). Repeat until you’ve reached your desired opacity.

3.Apply top coat, then finish with a cuticle oil like Londontown Kur Nourishing Cuticle Oil ($18).
