History
Piercing Pagoda was named after a restaurant near their plant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Phil Minichberg sold his first earrings at a kiosk in the Valley Forge Shopping Center in Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania in 1969. The stores were originally run by his wife and other relatives until he hired employees.

Please be aware that some materials do have their own restrictions on piercings. For example, titanium is not recommended for initial piercings due to its higher strength and density (and therefore potential to damage tissue).

Yes, we’re still piercing ears! To make sure you have the best experience possible, we’ve made some changes to our piercing process:
- Only one customer will be pierced at a time.
- Walk-in piercings are welcome. However, we recommend calling your store ahead of time to reserve a spot in line.
- We can pierce only one customer per location per day, so you may need to wait until the next day for your piercing if our daily limit is met. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- We’ll continue to follow all local, state and CDC guidelines and recommendations for COVID-19 prevention.
