I have been dying my hair burgundy for the past two years. I started with dark brown hair, and then it turned into medium brown from all the bleaching that I did. Now it’s light brown because I decided not to bleach anymore.
Burgundy is a dark shade of red and it doesn’t come out as vibrant if you have dark hair. My hair was black before I dyed it burgundy and the dye barely showed up. With my black hair, I had to bleach it first before dyeing it, so that the burgundy would show up at all.
